All About Jess - Founder of Seeds of Knowledge Holistic Health

My journey into women’s health began with a deep curiosity about the body and a lifelong passion for natural healing. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition, where I’m learning to blend evidence-based science with the wisdom of holistic practices.

I believe that true healing supports the whole person - body, mind and spirit. For me, the foundations of health are nourishment, movement and mindfulness. When these pillars are supported, the body has an incredible capacity to restore balance. And when symptoms arise, herbs - nature’s pharmacy - can offer gentle, supportive care alongside modern knowledge.

But Seeds of Knowledge was not created from curiosity alone.
It was born from lived experience.

For many years, I struggled with my own health challenges. When I sought help, I often felt unseen and unheard. I searched for answers and support, but when I tried to advocate for myself I was met with barriers that made the journey even more difficult.

After living with constant pain for years, I finally received a diagnosis.

That experience changed the way I see women’s health.

It revealed how often women’s symptoms are dismissed, misunderstood or minimised. It showed me how little education we are given about our own bodies, and how many women are left navigating their health without the knowledge or support they deserve.

And as a mother, it made me reflect deeply on the world I want for my daughter.

I want a world where women’s health issues are not swept under the rug.
Where our experiences are taken seriously.
Where young girls grow up understanding their bodies, their cycles and their natural rhythms.

Through conversations with countless women, I’ve realised my story is not unique. So many women share similar experiences - mothers, daughters, sisters, aunties and friends who have all felt the same frustration when seeking answers.

I want better for them.

Seeds of Knowledge was created to be part of that change.

My intention is to cultivate a space where women feel supported, informed and empowered. A place where knowledge is shared openly, where curiosity is encouraged, and where women feel confident advocating for their health.

Because when we plant seeds of understanding in one woman, those seeds ripple outward - nurturing daughters, mothers, aunties and communities everywhere.

And from those seeds, something powerful begins to grow.

Rooted in nature. Guided by knowledge.
